The seven species, two types of grain and five types of fruit, were a source of many foods and provided nourishment all year round. In addition, they occupy a prominent place in the heritage and culture of the people of Israel. Of course, they also grow in other parts of the world, and we are blessed to have them in the Land of Israel!
